South Africa: Kwazulu Natal Youth Fund Grant Application 2021 (Get up to R2,000,000)

Kwazulu Natal Youth Fund Grant Application is now open for the 2021 session. The filling and submission of the application forms are opened from 1st July 2021 to 30 July 2021.

The only official website to apply is http://www.kznonline.gov.za

Interested Applicants should proceed to the official website of KwaZulu-Natal and download the application form and complete it in the right proportion.

Youth applying are advised to ensure that they have the following documents when making an application to the Kwazulu Natal Fund grant 2021


  • Business proposal (R50 000 io R500 000) business plan (R500 000 to R2 Mill)
  • Company Registration Documents
  • Proof of Address and valid Tax Clearance Documentation.

All applications must adhere to the minimum qualifying criteria in order to be considered for the fund.

KZN Youth Empowerment Fund Minimum Qualifying Criteria:

The Youth of KwaZulu Natal is drawn to the following minimum qualifying criteria to ensure consideration and possible approval of their applications:

  1. Age Cohort (18 35)
  2. No change of business ownership in the last twelve months from the date of the Fund application.
  3. Maximum 10% operational costs and 90% capital or asset costs.
  4. Business ownership (80 %Youth owned).
  5. Young women owned businesses will have an added advantage.
  6. Adhere to priority sectors as spelled out in the application form (Applications with Innovation and sound Franchise deals are encouraged).
  7. Local content is required.
  8. Township and Rural operations are encouraged.

NB: Failure to comply with some of the minimum criteria points will lead to automatic disqualification from being considered for funding while the lack of others will result in weak proposals that may lead to disapproval.
