INEC rejects election credits by Kaduna state legislature

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was establish in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to among other things organize elections into various political offices in the country.

The functions of INEC as contained in Section 15, Part 1 of the Third Schedule of the 1999 Constitution (As Amended) and Section 2 of the Electoral Act 2010 (As Amended)

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is accepting Application for Recruitment of Ad-hoc Staff for the bye-elections in the affected states listed below:


  • Bayelsa State
  • Bauchi State
  • Borno State
  • Cross River State
  • Enugu State
  • Imo State
  • Katsina State
  • Kogi State
  • Lagos State
  • Plateau State and
  • Zamfara State

Applications commence today, Wednesday 7th October 2020 and ends on Friday 16th October 2020.
