Comprehensive list of states without coronavirus cases in Nigeria as at today 26th April 2020.

The coronavirus pandemic has so far been recorded in 26 states including the Federal capital territory, with Lagos state being the Epicenter of this virus with confirmed cases of 589 as at 26th April 2020.

It was recorded that just a few days after the virus was discovered in Kano state about 77 cases have been confirmed. This same number took Lagos state a month to record such amount of number.

The country’s total deaths from the virus now stand at 35 while 222 have recovered with 1,182 cases confirmed.

The question engineering in the heart of many is; what is the fate of Kano state and are pondering on how quickly the virus is spreading in Kano state.


While the pandemic is spreading to most major states in Nigeria, there are some few states that are yet to record any case in Nigeria.

What is a ‘novel’ coronavirus?

A novel coronavirus (CoV) is a new strain of coronavirus.

The disease caused by the novel coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, China, has been named coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) – ‘CO’ stands for corona, ‘VI’ for the virus and ‘D’ for the disease. Formerly, this disease was referred to as ‘2019 novel coronavirus’ or ‘2019-nCoV.’

  • Be Safe.
