Only These Set of People should visit NIMC Enrollment Centre to Validate their NIN

The spokesman of the commission explained that the new order applies only to those who have not visited the NIMC Office to register for the NIN but they use the opportunity of the BVN Record harmonization with the National Identity Database.

The agency said if an individual doesn’t visit NIMC enrollement center he or she will not be able to have access to the NIMC mobile app and the NIN-SIM integration will not be valid.

The NIN which the Bank Verification Number generated will only be valid after an update from the NIMC enrolment center.

NIMC further explained that the reason individuals should visit the enrollment center is to capture their biometrics and photograph to be added to the NIMC Database.
