Nigerian Air Force DSSC Recruitment 2024 – The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is currently enlisting graduates and post-graduates for training as Direct Short Service Cadets in various professions.

Applicants are advised to carefully read the specific disciplines required before filling out the form. Please note the following instructions:

1. Applicants are allowed to make only one application. Multiple applications will result in disqualification.
2. After completing the online application, applicants must print out the following documents: a. Local Government Area Attestation Form, to be signed by a Military/Police Officer from the same state as the applicant, not below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Assistant Commissioner of Police and above, Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrate, and Principal of the Secondary School attended by the applicant. b. Parent/Guardian Consent Form. c. Attestation of Good Character Form. d. Acknowledgement Form.

ELIGIBILITY:

3. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and origin.
4. Male applicants must not be less than 1.66m tall, and female applicants must not be less than 1.63m tall.
5. Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
6. Applicants must not have any previous convictions on criminal grounds by a court of law.
7. Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 years (Candidates born before 15 December 1994 are not eligible). However, there are exceptions: a. Medical Consultants should be between the ages of 25 – 40 years (Candidates born before 15 December 1984 are not eligible). b. This exercise is not for serving military personnel desiring Branch Commission. Personnel above 30 years born before 15 December 1994 need not apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:

8. Interested applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower Division for holders of the first degree and Lower Credit for HND holders. Additionally, applicants must possess credit in English Language and Mathematics, as well as 3 additional credits in subjects related to their course of study. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
9. Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption from NYSC at the time of applying. Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria where applicable.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

10. Online Registration starts on 29 January 2024 and closes on 11 March 2024.
11. Nigerian Air Force online registration and all other recruitment processes are FREE OF CHARGE, and no payment should be made at any point throughout the Exercise.
12. The Attestation Form must be accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signee’s Driver’s License, International Passport, or National ID Card. The signee is also required to authenticate the passport photograph of the applicant.
