Festus Keyamo – WAEC Certificate is Not Needed to become the President of Nigeria
The 2019 Buhari campaign organization’s lawyer and spokesperson, Festus Keyamo, was a guest last night on Channels TV discussing the issue of President Buhari’s WAEC certificate. The main opposition party, PDP and other political parties, challenged the eligibility of President Buhari to be the president on the grounds that he did not submit his WAEC results to INEC.
Keyamo says in his interview WAEC certificate is not a prerequisite for becoming Nigeria’s president.
According to him, if you have held a public office for a reasonable period of time, you don’t even need a WAEC certificate to become Nigeria’s president by the constitutional provisions.
