The family of Elozino Joshuana Ogege, the student of Delta State University, DELSU that was killed by ritualists, are  crying out for help over what they consider as an alleged injustice in the case against the culprits.

Elozino Ogege, who was a 300 level student of Mass Communication, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, was abducted and killed in November 2018.

According to one Comr. Obawharievbo Onajite, justice is not served despite the arrests of the suspects involved in the crime, as the family of the deceased is still in deep pain.

It was learnt that on the 18th of March 2019 in high court 1 Asaba, one of the culprits, a sister to the killer who was indicted in the murder – was set free by the Judicial head of the state on the grounds of Nolle Proseque claiming she’s a minor.

The deceased’s family are not happy with this development as they are afraid that another accused will be released by the court at the next court sitting as they feel that there is power from above to free the guilty.

The family is calling for the general public’s support and presence at high court 1 Asaba to rally around for justice to prevail on Wednesday, April 17 at 9am.
