Application For Grant Funding in Tanzania for HIV & Aids Project – Up to $10,000 – The Ambassador’s Fund for HIV/AIDS Relief (AFHR) is funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

Every year, AFHR grants help community-based and faith-based organizations implement projects that provide care, support, and economic opportunity to communities affected by HIV/AIDS. Ambassador’s Special Self Help Fund

The Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund (SSH) started in Tanzania in 1965 and is designed to provide small scale assistance to registered community groups, women’s groups, self-help groups, youth groups and some schools for projects that improve living conditions in their communities.

One objective of the SSH grant is to combine grant funds with community resources to support important projects. Successful applications have strong community involvement and contributions; provide significant community benefit; and are self-sustaining activities that can be completed in one year. Most grants range from $2,000. up to $10,000.
