Nigeria Police recruitment 2024 for constable

The Enugu State Police Command has finalized the schedule and locations for the JAMB-administered Computer-Based Test (CBT) for General Duty applicants as part of the 2023 police constable recruitment process.

Successful candidates who passed the physical and credentials screening will undertake the CBT on Tuesday, March 5, and Wednesday, March 6 according to DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the command’s spokesperson.

The designated centers for the CBT include Coal City University CBT Centre, Enugu State College of Education (Technical), and Foretrust Digital Learning Management Centre. Additionally, Bishop Otubelu Juniorate CBT Centre will replace the initially designated IMT Digital Learning Management Centre.

Applicants are urged to visit the recruitment portal to access and print their examination invitation slips, containing the dates, times, and locations for the CBT. They must also bring the invitation slip and appear in white T-shirts and shorts.

Ndukwe emphasized that the CBT is exclusively for General Duty applicants, with details for Specialists cadre examinations to be announced later.

Commissioner of Police, Kanayo Uzuegbu, extends best wishes to shortlisted General Duty applicants, advising them to conduct themselves appropriately and adhere to examination rules. He also warns against job scammers and emphasizes that the recruitment process remains free of charge.
