A woman who has more than one vagi*na and one womb may sound like a fairy tale to hear, however, Elizabeth Amoah has been living with this condition for quite some time and has now decided to let the world know about it.

According to Ghanaweb, Elizabeth, also known as’ Special Lady,’ revealed that after being diagnosed with sexual complications she had to undergo seven medical surgeries.

“I found out that in 2015, after an MRI scan, I had a double womb and a double vag*na canal, so I had to undergo about seven surgeries,” she said.

According to her, the scan also found that she had Endometriosis: a sexual disorder in which uterine tissue linings grow outside the uterus. She explained that having a double vag*na means having one outside vagina and the other inside.

He added that the double womb usually has no symptoms but exposes one to health challenges such as irregular periods, fibroids, irregular fainting and, in some cases, infertility.

“After four years of not conceiving, I had a premature baby and it wasn’t easy to go through such health situations,” she said.

Having gone through the ordeal, Elizabeth is now back into her home town to kick-start a campaign called “The Unspoken Topics,” a project she plans to use as a tool with her Special Lady Foundation to educate women, especially young women, about the challenges of reproductive health.
