Just dial any of the following code below:

*#*#3646633#*#* or *#*#4636#*#* this will take you to the engineering mode of your phone.
Once you are there, touch the “Phone Information” Option.

Scroll down to “Set preferred network type”

Press the drop-down “option” and select LTE only.
Navigate back to your home screen and reboot your phone.

If you are unable to get to that section follow method 2

Method 2

Download and install MTK Engineering Mode App from the play store
Launch the app and navigate to android settings from the settings you will see exactly the steps from the above method. Continue from step 2 from above and finally reboot your phone.

Finally, your phone is able to access the 4G LTE network, enjoy to the full.

  Am afraid NO! tolu, you can only enjoy the 4G LTE network when you are using a smartphone with OS-level 4 and above.

I did it but when I went to preferred sim it’s still showing just 3g and 2g options.

  Nothing visible will change, you will only see a 4G LTE network on your phone.
