Job Title: Accountant

Location: Apo Lesgislative Quaters, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions, prepare budget and petty cash
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings, Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Incharge of remitting tax and preparing tax returns
  • Manage staff salaries and payments, compensations, benefits and deductions
  • Audit financial transactions and documents and data confidentiality
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc in Accounting and other Accounting Certifications
  • At least 3 years working experience as an accountant in a previous Organisation
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like the Quickbooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and general ledger functions
  • Excellent Knowledge in Book keeping
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
