Globacom Limited, commonly known as glo, is a Nigerian multinational telecommunications company founded on 29 August 2003 by Mike Adenuga. As of June 2018, the company employs more than 3,500 people worldwide. In my previous article i showed you how to unshared data on glo, however, in this article you will learn how to transfer airtime on glo.

First Change You Transfer Code

First, change your transfer code Before you can use the Glo airtime transfer service, you should change your default PIN for security reasons. To do this follow the steps below. To change your Glo transfer code from the default code, dial *132* default code/old code new transfer code new transfer code#. Note ‘old code’ if you have changed from the default code before, but you want to change again to a new one. For example, to change your code from 00000 to 12345, dial *132*00000*12345*12345#.

Now Transfer Airtime on Glo


In other to use the glo airtime transfer service pick up your phone and dial *131* Recipient’s Phone Number*AirtimeAmount*Glo Transfer code#.

For example, if you want to transfer 300 airtime to a friend with the phone number 08142438504, dial *131*08142438504*300*12345#. Once the transfer is completed and successful, you will get a notification via text message.

Note: 12345 is the changed from the default Glo Transfer code.
