On this note, the board has released the complete list of requirements that should be carried along for the physical screening that is scheduled to take place from 14th to 28th June 2023.

Applicants who are shortlisted for the NIS recruitment 2023 should take note of the following requirements and ensure they come along with these items while complying with the board’s rules and regulations.

List of Requirements for NIS Physical Screening 2023

1. Original and Photocopies of your Documents

You should bring the original copies of all required documents such as;

  • Educational certificates,
  • Birth certificate,
  • National Identification Number (NIN) and
  • Any other relevant identification documents.

Make sure to bring photocopies of these documents as well.

2. Application Confirmation Slip

The confirmation slip serves as proof that you successfully completed the online application process. It is important to bring a printed copy of this document for verification.

3. Academic Qualification Certificates

Come with the original copies of your academic qualification certificates, including;


  • Secondary school certificate (SSCE)
  • National Diploma (ND)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or
  • University degree, depending on the position you applied for.

4. Medical Fitness Report

Bring along a medical fitness report from a recognized hospital or medical center, indicating that you are in good health.

5. Birth Certificate or Age Declaration

Bring the original and a photocopy of your birth certificate or age declaration document to verify your age and date of birth.

6. Local Government Identification

Carry your local government identification letter or certificate as proof of your origin and local government area.

7. Passport Photographs

Bring a specified number of recent passport-sized photographs as specified in the recruitment guidelines. These photographs should be clear, with a white background.

8. Writing Materials

It is advisable to carry writing materials such as pens, pencils, and a notepad or clipboard for any written examinations or assessments that may be part of the physical screening process.

9. Physical Fitness Attire

Dress appropriately in comfortable and suitable sportswear or athletic attire. This may include a T-shirt, shorts or tracksuit bottoms, and sports shoes that allow for easy movement during physical exercises.

10. Personal Items

Carry personal items such as water bottles, snacks, and any necessary medications to ensure you stay hydrated and energized during the screening process.
