Singapore COVID-19 Recovery Grant 2022 is currently ongoing, interested applicants should kindly read the below requirements and guidelines on how to apply for the SCRC 2022.

The Singapore Covid-19 Recovery Grant 2022 Provides temporary financial support to lower- and middle-income workers (both employees and Self-Employed Persons) with fewer means and family support, who have been affected by the economic impact of COVID-19.

What are the Benefits?

Up to $700 per month for 3 months to employees who at the point of application are:

  • Unemployed due to retrenchment or involuntary contract termination; or
  • Placed on involuntary no-pay leave (NPL) for at least 3 consecutive months.

Up to $500 per month for 3 months to:

  • Employees who are facing salary loss for at least 3 consecutive months, with an average overall loss of at least 50% at the point of application; and
  • Self-Employed Persons (SEPs) who are facing a loss in their net trade income (NTI) for at least 3 consecutive months, with an average loss of at least 50% at the point of application, compared to their average monthly NTI in 2021 and 2022.

Each individual can receive up to three tranches of CRG in total, over 2021 and 2022.


*Assistance received under the COVID-19 Recovery Grant – Temporary does not count towards this three-tranche limit.

Who is Eligible to apply for the Singapore Covid-19 recovery Grant 2022?

  • 21 years old and above
  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
  • Living in property with an Annual Value (AV) below $21,000
  • Prior to job or income loss or involuntary NPL, monthly household income should be not more than $7,800 or monthly household income per capita not more than $2,600
  • Employees should have worked for at least 6 months cumulatively between January 2020 and December 2021
  • SEPs should have declared annual net trade income (NTI) in either 2020 or 2021
  • Not full-time National Serviceman
  • Not receiving support from any of the following government schemes: Seafarers Relief Package, COVID-19 Driver Relief Fund, SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme – Company Training, or SGUnited Skills Programme

How to Apply?

You can apply:

  • Online via SupportGoWhere using your Singpass account
  • Via your nearest Social Service Office

Employees You’ll need to provide:

  • Documents on bank account details for fund disbursement
  • Relevant documents indicating your active participation in job search or training e.g. confirmation of application for training via Government touchpoints. The documents should minimally indicate:
    • Your name
    • Date of application
    • Name of the company/employer that you applied or interviewed at, or the training provider and course title of the training attended
  • Relevant documents indicating involuntary loss of job, placement on involuntary no-pay leave (NPL) or income loss, including:
    • A letter of retrenchment/termination of contract; or
    • A letter from employer stating placement on involuntary NPL for at least 3 consecutive months; or
    • A letter from employer indicating an average monthly salary loss of at least 50% for at least 3 consecutive months; or
    • Payslip(s) or CPF contribution statement(s) showing last drawn monthly salary before and after the job loss, placement on involuntary NPL or salary loss

Self-Employed Persons

  • Documents on bank account details for fund disbursement
  • Relevant documents indicating that you are working as a self-employed person e.g. valid trade licence(s), contracts for service, income statements, tax invoices billed to service buyers, receipts issued for services, or list of client engagements
  • Relevant supporting evidence of your attempts to reach out to clients and business may be submitted

SCHEME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Lost jobs and/ or on no-pay leave: Up to $700 per month for 3 months
  • Lost income: Up to $500 per month for 3 months
  • Apply online from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022
