15-Day Countdown: How to Score 350 and Above in the JAMB
As the clock ticks closer to the commencement of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), students across Nigeria are gearing up for the ultimate test of their academic prowess. With only 15 days left until the JAMB kicks off, Adesegun Ogungbayi, the chairman of MIMS Educational Services in Lagos, has unveiled a strategic roadmap aimed at achieving a score of 350 and above in the examination.
Ogungbayi, a seasoned education expert and the project coordinator of the Academic Excellence Initiative (AEI), emphasizes the critical importance of thorough preparation and strategic focus. According to him, students should have already completed the 2024 UTME syllabus by now, gaining valuable insights into the exam’s scope and structure.
“The syllabus serves as a guiding light for JAMB candidates, helping them identify specific areas that demand their attention,” Ogungbayi explains. “By prioritizing study time and allocating more effort to challenging topics across their chosen subject combinations, students can significantly enhance their chances of success.”
Furthermore, Ogungbayi underscores the significance of familiarizing oneself with the JAMB syllabus, which provides crucial insights into the types of questions that may be asked. “Completing the syllabus is not merely a box to check; it is a strategic imperative that aligns students’ preparation with the expectations of JAMB 2024,” he emphasizes.
In light of the impending examination, Ogungbayi urges JAMB candidates to leverage the syllabus as a powerful tool for effective and efficient studying. “A thorough understanding of the syllabus equips students with the necessary knowledge and confidence to tackle the exam with precision,” he asserts. “Ultimately, mastery of the syllabus will pave the way for achieving a score of 350 and above, securing admission to desired universities and courses.”
With the UTME set to commence on April 19, time is of the essence. As students enter the final stretch of their preparation journey, adhering to Ogungbayi’s strategic roadmap could make all the difference between success and disappointment in this high-stakes examination.
